So, what’s in your drawers? How many bras do you need? Bras on a budget? It’s a good idea to also give some extra thought to what is in your bra-drobe. Just a few bra types will go a long way when building up and planning your bra-drobe. Here are five different types of bras that I think should be represented in every woman’s bra-drobe and that cover most needs and occasions.
FLEXIBLE FRIEND FOR EVERYDAY WEAR
Ladies we all need that flexible and functional bra-friend that is perfect for everyday wear. A bra that gives the bust a round shape and disappears under clothes. A T-shirt bra is the perfect bra-friend, thanks to its moulded, smooth and seamless cups. They are perfect at work and almost any time.
For nice relaxing days, an extra comfortable bra-friend is perfect to wear at home. Choose one in soft cotton and comfortable stretch lace with wide padded shoulder straps that don’t cut in, you will hardly notice it’s there!
Power walks with the dog, yoga or other forms of more gentle exercise when a high-impact bra-friend isn’t necessary, an activity bra, which is a lighter form of sports bra and keeps the bust in place for those gentler activities.
FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS
We just love to dress for those special occasions…time for the elegant bra-friend. Feel beautiful from the inside out; an extra luxurious bra-friend under your clothes will help to radiate happiness and self-confidence and often will improve your posture. Beauty comes from underneath and you will be uplifted in every way.
FOR A LITTLE EXTRA SUPPORT IN LIFE
Beautifull cups want a little extra help on the way to lift and support the bust, and nothing does that better than a comfortable, well-fitting underwired bra. Remember fitting is the key; an underwired bra that fits well is never uncomfortable and doesn’t pinch.
Depending on taste and lifestyle you can own several models of, for example, T-shirt bra-friends or luxury special occasion bra-friends, but at Figure 8 Lingerie we think that at least one ought to be represented in most women’s bra-drobes. A good tip: the more bras you have to alternate between, the longer each individual bra lasts.
